dc.description.abstractAsymptomatic bacteriuria is known as the detection of microbial growth with no signs or symptoms of urinary tract infection. In developed countries the prevalence of asymptomatic bacteriuria ranges from 2% to 15%. A total number of 24 participants male and female were tested on urine culture for microbial growth. The aim of this study is to find out if there is effect of gender differences on prevalence and microbial spectrum of asymptomatic bacteriuria effect. Many studies showed that females are more vulnerable than males for asymptomatic bacteriuria. Escherichia coli on top of list or the commonest microbial that is responsible for asymptomatic bacteriuria.en_US
