Urine culture help to diagnose common diseases, such as urinary tract infections, kidney disorders, liver problems, diabetes, or other metabolic conditions, also it may detect bacteria with no associated disease or symptoms because of the rapid growth of the normal flora in the vagina or external urethra, however, urine culture should be done. N.B; drugs can affect the result of urine analysis. Generally, more than 100,000/ml of one organism reflects significant bacteriuria. Multiple organisms reflect contamination.
