Abstract

One of the major outcomes of the Human Genome Project (HGP) is the advancement of biobanks, which are collections of bio specimens from patients and volunteer donors combined with their personal information, and even research data (1,2). In the postgenomic era, Therefore, biobanks are considered the primary resource that will help shape the future of human health through precision medicine. thus, precision medicine can be defined as the right treatment for the right patient at the right time.
