On Thursday, November 05, 2020, fourth year Pharmacy students continued to attend the team-based learning sessions for the academic year 2020/2021. The session was implemented in all its individual and group activities and is within the fourth week of the fifteenth educational block entitled Neurological & Psychiatric Disorders. It is worth noting that the Faculty of Pharmacy is the first and only Faculty in Libya whose students’ study within the PharmD program, which is an accredited program that grants a Bachelor's degree to pharmacists who are able to provide pharmaceutical care to the patient.
The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Libyan International Medical University adopts modern curricula and teaching methods and student-centered learning strategies within an interactive education system where teaching takes place at the Faculty from the first year until graduation over a period of five years. Teaching takes place using problem-based learning, team-based learning and research-based learning strategies.
