Fifth year students at the Faculty of Pharmacy continue to receive their lessons for the academic year 2020/2021 and attend lectures, discussions and sessions of all kinds within the twentieth educational block entitled Professional Development remotely for most of the block components. It is worth noting that the Faculty of Pharmacy is the first and only Faculty in Libya whose students’ study within the PharmD program, which is an accredited program that grants a Bachelor's degree to pharmacists who are able to provide pharmaceutical care to the patient. The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Libyan International Medical University adopts modern curricula and teaching methods and student-centered learning strategies within an interactive education system where teaching takes place at the Faculty from the first year until graduation over a period of five years. Teaching takes place using problem-based learning, team-based learning and research-based learning strategies.en_US
