dc.description.abstractAbstract Nurses are considered a large and important part of healthcare staff, their acceptance of new technologies for use in their field is hence important. The aim of the study reported in this research was to evaluate nurses’ attitudes towards the use of information technology in their daily nursing practice. The research held was a quantitative/descriptive study, a questionnaire was obtained and edited to evaluate the acceptance of new technologies by nurses of numerous healthcare facilities, a hundred copies were distributed among nurses of multiple healthcare facilities. The results of this study indicates that nurses in Benghazi city regardless of their limited background on the new technologies have positive views to the use of information technology in their field of work and they show great acceptance to these technologies.en_US
