Urinary tract infection is one of the most common types of infection worldwide, but we are focusing and studying the development of a positive bacterial growth, in the patients without having any signs of infection which is known as asymptomatic bacteriuria.(1) most common cause is E.Coli.(6) In this study 24 samples were divided to 12 males and 12 females to observe the bacterial growth.about 75% of the males showed no growth and 25% showed minor growth. In costract the female ratio was higher, about 16.7% had high growth, about 66.7% with low growth and only 16.7% were sterile. This difference in ratios happens due to the difference in the anatomical structure between the two genders.
