As a part of the Pharmacy Practice curriculum for the academic year 2018/2019: second year PharmD students at the Faculty of Pharmacy received their training in Community Pharmacies. The training was under the supervision of Professors at the Faculty of Pharmacy and with the collaboration with qualified pharmacists working in community pharmacies. It is worth noting that the PharmD program adopts interactive learning methods which includes Problem-based and Team-based learning. Practical trainings in the PharmD program are considered an integral part of the study process and they account for a significant portion of the requirements needed to obtain the degree. The Faculty of Pharmacy would like to thank “Alyansoun Pharmacy” located in Al-Hawari road for the warm and wonderful welcome they have given to all the students’ groups during the visits. The Faculty of Pharmacy would also like to thank the “Alyansoun Pharmacy” management and staff for the active and effective participation in the training of PharmD students making their experience an unforgettable educational experience.
