dc.descriptionAs part of the curriculum of block VIII, PharmD students at the faculty of Pharmacy learn about drug discovery in order to achieve the educational objectives of this unit. Therefore, second year PharmD students, receive various practical training sessions, including the design of drugs using modeling and simulation programs where students study molecular modeling and docking using the computer and its various applications. It is worth mentioning that the Faculty of Pharmacy in an unprecedented step at the Libyan International Medical University, has set up a simulation laboratory in which practical sessions are implemented for the different disciplines of the sciences that are taught to students in the foundational stage of the program such as: pharmaceutical chemistry, pathology and pharmacology, in addition to courses of clinical stage of the program such as: therapeutics, clinical pharmacology, toxicology, self-care management, therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacovigilance.en_US
