Abstract
Description
Second year students at the Faculty of Pharmacy visited the Alyansoun pharmacy as part of the experiential education plan in the pharmacy practice curriculum in the pharmacogenomics block. This visit aimed to introduce students to the types of drugs, their classifying and ways of storing them. The students learned how to differentiate between the two names: generic and commercial, in addition to reviewing some of the prescriptions available in the pharmacy. The students were trained on the communication skills between the pharmacist and the patient, and the laws and regulations governing the opening of pharmacies.
