dc.descriptionHELLP Syndrome (HS) is a life-threatening pregnancy complication usually considered to be variant of preclampsia , Named for 3 features of the disease : H :Hemolysis the RBC are broken down too quickly this can lead to anemia problem involving insufficient transport of oxygen throughout the body. EL: Elevated Liver enzyme can be taken as a sign that liver function is compromised. LP: Low Platelet count (platelet help in blood clotting ) , so an unusually low level of platelet indicates that a person is at risk for excessive bleedingen_US
