dc.description.abstractThe aim of this present research is to explore the incidence rate of Asymptomatic Bacteriuria among students at Libyan International Medical University (LIMU). The populations of this study were selected randomly, a total number of 24 medical students, their gender varies (12 males and 12 females) participated in the study. Asymptomatic bacteriuria is the presence of bacteria in the properly collected urine of a patient that has no signs or symptoms of a urinary tract infection. This kind of bacteria is very common in clinical practice and its incidence increases with age, prevalence of significant asymptomatic bacteriuria was higher in females than males There were statistically significant different in asymptomatic bacteriuria with gender (X2 , P=0.004) The organisms isolated were E. coli .en_US
