Abstract
Description
Blood-borne hepatitis, hepatitis B and hepatitis C (HBV & HCV), are a worldwide health problem that affect millions of people annually. These viruses are transmitted parenterally, making health care professionals a risk group for infection. Dentists play a major role in the prevention & spread of hepatitis by taking every safety measures needed to prevent transmission. These measures include cross infection control and following standard precautions.
